Business Cards Catalog > Stationery > Business Stationery > Business Cards Creative Business Cards are one of the most important representation of your business when given out to potential customers. A poorly designed business card could cost you a potential customer. I am quite sure you have heard about how to design creative business cards. Some may have mentioned that you should have the right color on your business cards, colors that are eye catching and creative. Maybe some have told you to use special pictures or images in order to have creative business cards. Some probably emphasized what type of layout and fonts you should use. At Little Lady Bug Designs we suggest all of the above to make a good impression and representation of your business with having a creative business cards design. To be creative and stand out from the rest, you can choose any color, image and background to be printed on your business cards. Make sure your business cards do what they are supposed to do, Get You Business! Here are a couple of things that you should not do when choosing your business cards: Do Not Use Free Business Cards: Have you ever heard the saying , Nothing In Life Is Free? That applies to free business cards as well. Companies that offer FREE business cards advertise their company by using their logo on the back of your business cards. By having their logo on the back of your business cards. You are giving off the impression that your business is cheap and that you are not able to afford professional and creative business cards. Do Not Use Small Text on your Business Cards: Everyone is not so lucky to have 20/20 vision. Consider getting a large font on your business cards. I’d suggest size 14 for your business name and your name and title, size 12 or 10 for your business address and contact information. Do not Use Colors that do not compliment each other on your business cards: Make sure you choose your colors wisely. Sometimes colors have the tendency to clash and irrate those who look at them. Some color combinations match and some don’t. Get a color wheel and see which colors are pleasing to the eye. Last but not least PLEASE do not use someone else's business cards! Writing your business information in or photo shopping your information onto another card could definitely be a very bad reflection on you and your company.
